Live every week from Sonoma, California, Sports Zone features our very own reporting correspondent, Mark Milton, along with interviews, banter and coverage of all sports …from the Pro teams to our favorite local fishing holes …including Sonoma Valley sports activities, events and news that are altogether fresh, hot, edgy and fun.

Randy Hurley, an alumnus of Cal State University, Long Beach with a degree in Journalism, has written for numerous sports publications, including Sports Magazine and Peterson’s Hunting and Fishing Magazines. Randy was also Sports Editor for the Ukiah Daily Journal. Currently, Randy reads two to three daily publications, and with NFL Sunday Ticket, he is a general sports statistical whiz! Randy is also a 1980 Graduate of Sonoma Valley High School.

Mark Milton, a Sonoman since 1994, is covertly known as a “local tavern mayor” with experience in sports coming from the streets of Daly City, CA. Mark has played soccer, football, basketball, track and lacrosse. Mark prefers college and local sports over pro athletics, believing in the honesty of the games when free of politics. Currently, he is studying Economics and Marketing at Sonoma State University while he works as a bartender at the Mertage Martini and Oyster Bar and Grill in downtown Sonoma.
